An intimate portrait of Emily Dickinson, William Luce’s THE BELLE OF AMHERST is presented in association with JCU's 'Italy Ready Program,' performed by Gaby Ford and directed by Imogen Kusch. Blending poetry, memory, shadow puppetry, and theatrical imagination, the production explores Dickinson’s inner life through a hauntingly personal one-woman performance.
